Why was my virtual card payment declined?

Your virtual card payment may have been declined for several reasons, including:

Insufficient funds: This can happen when you don't have enough money in your account to cover the transaction. To avoid having your card declined and incurring fees associated with insufficient funds when making a transaction, make sure your virtual card is always funded.
Incorrect information: If you enter the wrong information for your virtual card, such as the card number, expiration date, CVV code, or billing address, the transaction may not go through. Always double-check that you are entering the correct details.
Card deactivated: If your virtual card has been terminated, you will no longer be able to use it for transactions.
Card frozen: If a card has been frozen, it cannot be used for transactions. You can freeze or unfreeze the card anytime in the app.
Network issues: If the bank network is unavailable at the time of the transaction or there is an issue with the merchant’s website, the transaction may not be processed. This can happen due to technical issues or maintenance work being carried out.
Daily or monthly limit reached: When you exceed the daily and monthly limits set on your card, the transaction will not be processed.
Transaction error: A generic decline, usually due to a technical issue like a loss of internet connection, network error, or power outage at the time of the transaction. This can happen due to various reasons and is usually resolved within a short period of time. If you encounter this issue, try again later or contact us for assistance.
