Why was my virtual card terminated?

Your Onboard Virtual Card may be deactivated for various reasons, similar to physical cards. Below are common reasons for deactivation:

Suspected Fraud or Unauthorised Activity: We may deactivate your virtual card if we detect any suspicious or unauthorised activity. This is a precautionary measure to ensure your protection.

Frequent Transaction Declines: We incur fees every time your card is declined for a transaction, so we recommend only attempting to use your card when sufficiently funded. Frequent declines can lead to your card being terminated. However, we'll give you a heads up before this action is taken so you can avoid it.

Expiration: Virtual cards have expiration dates, just like physical cards. When your virtual card expires, we will deactivate it and issue a new one for your convenience.

Your Request: Sometimes, you may want to deactivate your card. You can tap the 'delete card' button in your app for this. Please note that this action is not reversible.

Violation of Terms and Conditions: If you use the virtual card in a way that violates our terms and conditions, we may terminate your card. This could include using the card for prohibited activities or in ways that are not allowed.

Technical Issues: Technical issues in the virtual card system may inadvertently result in card termination.

If your virtual card has been terminated and you're unsure why, please contact our customer support team for more information and assistance.
