Why can’t I change my name on Onboard?

You will notice that on your profile, and when adding or updating your Payment Methods, you can’t change your name.

To ensure secure trades, Onboard users are required to transact using their real names and use payment methods that are linked to their actual names.

We automatically save your name when verifying your KYC documents, and we try as much as possible to ensure this name matches the name written on your ID document.

If you notice any issues with the spelling or display of your name, please contact us directly on support@onboard.xyz.
